We have just had a fantastic 11 nights camping. The facilities are great, the toilet block is clean and modern. The showers are hot and powerful. The pitches are big with plenty of space between them. The whole site is neat and tidy. We got a great greeting on arrival from the owners who work extremely hard. We will be back next year.

We had such a great weekend camping here recently. Great pitches, nice gazebo to eat under, friendly owners. Showers and toilets so clean as was the block for washing dishes. I would highly recommend this site. Thanks for fitting us in at short notice too.

best campsite we have ever been to in 40 yrs of camping. so clean, with every facility & ease of access to the coast which has had most of it's sites turned into "trailer parks".

  • lisa hepburn (Thursday, August 17 17 06:15 pm BST)

Myself and my 2 year old had a great couple of days at this fab little site. Great showers and great kids play area and the kettle in kitchen is a great bonus for campers.

  • Stacey Lou Bradley (Thursday, September 29 16 01:57 pm BST)

We've just spent a few nights camping at North Alves Holiday Park, we've had such a lovely experience that we'll definitely be booking again for next year! We were greeted with such a warm and
friendly welcome, the grounds are so big that my children loved doing a bit of exploring and they especially loved helping feed the animals, I think my youngest was rather tempted to take Tom the cat
home with him! The facilities were above and beyond what we expected, they were gleaming too. The owners were lovely, can't wait to come back, we've fallen in love with the place! For my children to
make thankyou cards says alot about it, they are of the ipad generation that are very difficult to please but they loved it, so much so they asked to make the cards to thank you guys for such a
lovely stay. Looking forward to seeing you again next year!

  • Wendy Snaddon (Thursday, September 29 16 01:56 pm BST)

We're just home from a 2 week camping stay at North Alves.
What a fantastic site, it's spotless. Sam and Lee go above and beyond to make sure everyone's stay is brilliant.
Like others say the toilet and showers are spotless, the camping kitchen is fantastic with a microwave, kettle, freezer and even iron and ironing board
Our youngest loved helping to feed the animals even when he thought the sheep vibrated
The pitch sizes are fantastic, we have a large 8 man tent that fitted easily
    We will definitely be back

  • Claire Ashcroft (Thursday, September 29 16 01:53 pm BST)

We stayed in the new glamping area and thought it was fantastic. We were very comfortable and had much more available to us than we expected. A very family friendly place and the children were really
happy they could be involved in feeding the animals. Toilet/showers were of a high standard. Laundry room was so helpful....I could have kissed Sam when I saw there was not just an iron but an
ironing board too!!! Children loved the games room and park and due to the lovely family atmosphere I felt happy to let them explore. Definitely recommend staying here. Thank you very much x

  • Emma Hodgson (Thursday, September 29 16 01:52 pm BST)

We spend three nights in the glamping bell tent. Two adults, one toddler. It was great. The tent was so comfortable. Clean, cosy - much higher standard than expected. The toilet, kitchen and bbq were
just right- again clean and well equipped and we had toasted marshmallows every night by the fire. Other than the animals on site we spotted butterflies, rabbits, bats and even an owl. We made
friends with two very friendly chickens too. The atmosphere on the site was great. Quite but very family friendly and it felt so lovely in comparison to bigger camp sites. It is within minutes drive
to some great beaches and some fascinating ruined castles, etc. We hope to return and would highly recommend both the campsite and the glamping

What an absolute gem we've discovered here. Such a lovely well kept site. Everything a family camping trip needs is right here. From the powerful showers, wifi, laundry and cooking facilities to the
games room, I just couldn't fault it. I just wished we'd been there for longer. We'll definitely be back.

  • Martin Douglas (Tuesday, March 15 16 04:53 pm GMT)

North Alves is one of those hidden gems that are becoming less frequent as the surge for everything Hi-Tech and modern means more and more holiday parks have that "corporate" look and feel.
If you like your holiday sites to be clean, tidy and well maintained but have the bespoke charm of a family run business then this is the site for you.
A lovely quiet location with real world things to do (not the arcade and karaoke club type of place). Fabulous wildlife areas and some incredibly lovely and unusual animals to charm old and
    young.
If you're interested, EE cover the area with 4G but our guess is you'll forget about the phones as there is more than enough nature and natural wonders on and off the site to enthrall even the most
    electronic dependent holidaymaker.
The new "Glamping" facility looks amzing and although we now live within an hour of the site, we'll definitely be booking some short breaks there.

  • Kerrianne Anderson (Thursday, September 17 15 05:43 pm BST)

What a wee hidden gem! Lovely welcome from the owners. The cleanest of toilets and showers. Lots of wildlife and space for the kids to run free. Great play park to keep them entertained too. Thank
    you...we'll be back!

  • Sheena MacPherson (Thursday, September 17 15 05:42 pm BST)

  • Sandra Morrison (Thursday, September 17 15 05:41 pm BST)

  • David Reynolds (Thursday, September 17 15 05:40 pm BST)

  • Rhona Graham (Thursday, September 17 15 05:39 pm BST)
